Phreak,
This is a horrible addiction, huh!?!?! It gets you when you least expect it and it can last for a while. That, for me, made me mad... the fact that the addiction has such a huge hold on my life that I feel like I have to smoke to feel "normal." You said, "I want to feel normal and in control" - well, you ARE in control when you don't smoke... it's when you smoke that you're NOT in control... the addiction is. This feeling does go away, and sometimes, we wish it would go a lot faster, but unfortunately we can't speed it up... all we can do is be glad that it's not as bad as it once was in the very beginning. Hang in there!
Crave the Quit!
