Tide is High and Island Girl is on the Beach!

Thank you Phillip for starting my party a little earlier!! I haven't been able to log on all day and it has been so frustrating! I wanted to celebrate!!!! I haven't decided on a reward yet - maybe a nice piece of jewelry - I've got my eye on a turtle pendant...Where I live there are sea turtles that come and lay their eggs on the beach - they have become a great symbol for me. When the eggs hatch the little hatchlings have to crawl across the sand to the water. There are many preditors that want to prevent that from happening. The racoons invade the nest and eat the eggs - not even giving them a chance to hatch, the herons eat the hatchlings as they struggle to get to the water - but once the little turtles get to the water they find a freedom in their new life. This is what my life as a non-smoker has been. The racoons are the little voices in my head before I began my quit - You can't do it. Why should you quit? Defeating me before I even started. The herons are the nic demons that have made life such a struggle in the first of many days of my quit. But I perservered and made it to the water. I am finding a new freedom in my new life. I am thankful for everyone here on this site. Phillip, you have been such an inspiration to me, so wise and honest. Colleen - you are right in front of me, we began this journey together as Knights. CobenFan, You are such an encourager for everyone here. You're doing a fantastic job in your quit! Sunshine - you are amazing. Even though you aren't feeling very well and are always here for us - encouraging and supportive. TXst - You keep on going - you are doing great in your quit of 15 days! Mr. Ed - it makes me smile when I type your name - I love your narrative stories and thanks for letting us have a peek into your life. Cuddles - You are doing it - girl! I am proud of you! To the Support Staff here - thanks so much for all the great information that ya'll put out! Lady - what can I say - a fellow Georgian...you are such a wonderful person...always here when there are cries for help, supporting everyone, wanting everyone to be a non-smoker - thank you. Karen, I appreciate your beautiful illustrations - How do ya'll do that? I keep on asking but never get anyone to tell me!! LOL!! And to everyo

I could not wait. I must say I get very excited posting these congratulation messages, and I simply could not wait and wanted desperately to be the first to open the circle for Island Girl and welcome her to the beach. Island Girl Congratulations!!!!! Hooray! You have made it to the beach, you are a centurion! Job well done. Your style grace and wonderful support have been an awesome gift to me. I am so glad you are here and that you are sharing your experience and your insight into life with all of us. Thanks for the gift! Party on the beach you deserve a rich reward. P.S I have arranged for the vespa to be transfered from the cruise ship to the beach presently. Watch out for Oink, Mr.Ed and Chicken as the noise and the awesome sight of you on that contraption could over stimulte them and cause a great ruccus. Congrats on 100 days! Cheers Phillip :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 103 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,078 Amount Saved: $772.5 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 22 Mins: 33 Seconds: 13

Island girl...I will be near you tomorrow between 6 and 7. Steak n Shake off of 95 right before Jekyll and St.Simons. I'll be passing through on my way to Florida. Let me know if you want to try to meet up. That would be cool! I'm sure you know where I'm talking about. I'll check for a message from you tomorrow. Enjoy the Beach!
