APRIL 1, 2005 I WAS PUT IN THE HOSPITAL FOR NEMONIA AND DID NOT REALISE HOW SICK I WAS THEN MY DAD CALLED FROM VICTORIA BC AND SAID YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE AND ONE WARNING. SO I TOLD MYSELF THAT I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING FOR MY SELF TO IMPROVE SO I SAID I WOULD NEVER PUT ANOTHER CIG IN MY MOUTH. THATS WHAT I THOUGHT BUT ONCE OUT OF THE HOSPITAL I PUT A CIG IN MOUTH AND LIT IT UP AND TRIED DA COFFED MY HEAD OFF AND LOOKED AT MYSELF IN THE MIRROR AND ALL I SAW WAS A DUMB --- SO THATS WHEN THE TRUE FIGHT BEGAN AND I FIGHT MY BRAIN ON A DAILY BASES AND HAVE WON SO FAR. KEEP TELLING YOUR SELF THAT YOUR BRAIN DOSE NOT NEED THIS TO SURVIVE. THANKS FOR ALL WHOM SUPPORTED ME DURING THE TOUGH TIMES I HOPE I WILL BE ABLE TO HELP SOMEONE FROM LIGHTING UP AGAIN LOVE TO ALL JULIE L, GAYMAN :) :) :) ;) ;p ;p :p :8|: ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 367 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,617 Amount Saved: $1284.5 Life Gained: Days: 34 Hrs: 0 Mins: 24 Seconds: 46

Thank you Julie, you are indeed an inspiration to the many new quitters here at the SSC. One year is reachable with some hard work and dedication which you have shown. A super big congratulations on a milestone achieved by few and desired by many. Duffis duffis's Quit Stats Since Sunday, February 13, 2005, I've been smoke-free for: 1 Year(s), 50 Days, 18 Hours, 9 Minutes, 2 Seconds. I have saved $1,743.00 by not smoking 12472 cigarettes.
