pete I am so happy for you, you sound so upbeat and positive and I am sure that will help with your quit. Congratulations on your 41 days, that is awesome. Come and post with us more, I would love to hear from you more on how your doing and maybe it will help you to share with us. I think you need a nice reward, more than the vaccum being fixed :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 339 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,493 Amount Saved: $2542.5 Life Gained: Days: 44 Hrs: 10 Mins: 11 Seconds: 8

I am so proud of myself, the first time in many years. I went to the doctor for my check up on Friday (I used to work there) and everyone was so positive and congratulatory about my not smoking; I really felt good. My doctor gave me a big hug and told me to keep up with the no smoking as I was helping me. Dam that feels good. This morning Duffis greeted me with A big congratulation on reaching 41 days quit. Yesterday he repaired my vacuum cleaner that the repair man could not do and that made me super happy, he is helping me more around the house and he has that perpetual s**t eaten grin on his puss. I didnt realize how important this quit is to him. We are going to the gym together and working out and we have also started eating right. We are laughing and having more fun than the law allows it is so neat. After failing so many times in an attempt to quit smoking needless to say that I am beside myself for this time I really believe that I will succeed. Attitude and the really wanting to quit is all it takes, this time I have that. Pete and Duffis- Congrats to both of you. Our "old marriages" surely can thrive on a shot in the arm together.
