Iwin, Congratulations on your huge 4 months, how proud you must be. I think we are 5 days apart. I quit on Jan 7th, I am believing with you that the next four months will a breeze for you. I do hope you get to feeling better soon. I have had a couple of good days. And I am always thankful for them. When does you husband start his dental work? I know that this will be painful. My brother in-law had that done and had a rough time. Don't tell your husband. He has probably read up on it and already knows what he is facing. He will be in my thoughts and so will you. Stay strong and keep on believing that you will continue on your journey. YOU CAN DO THIS QUIT!!! IWIN, We talked about that, he was on antibotics before and after the surgery. Before he has any dental work done now he has to be on antibotics before he goes. Happy that you are also having family for the weekend. Enjoy them.. Iwin, Good to hear from you, another day Yea!!! Just keep on going you're doing great. Just look at those 121 days they are fantastic.. I talked with my brother in-law today and he did have the implants and after 3 or 4 days he got an infection, and he said it felt like every tooth in his mouth was hurting. They don't know what caused the infection, but he thinks he got it at the dentist office. Wishing you a smoke-free weekend. My family will all be here for Mother's Day. Before I go to bed I just wanted to let everyone know that as of an hour and a half ago, I have been smoke free for 4 months. The last couple of days have been kind of crappy craving wise, but I did not give in. Here's hoping the next 4 months will be a lot easier. Sunshine, If you get a chance could you ask your brother in law if he was on antibiotics before and after his surgery? I am glad your family is going to be with you on Mother's day. We will have some family here too although one of my daughters won't be able to be here. Have a great smoke free weekend. Cuddles- Contrats on you 20 days. You are doing great. Cobenfan-Thanks, that was sooo cute. ItsIronic- Don't you feel great having 100 days. Polly- 130 days. You are amazing too! Lady & Josie- Thank you so much for the encouragement. It means a lot to me. Sunshine- He is having the implant surgery on the 24th of may. They are putting in 6 implants on the bottom and healing abutments on top of those. Then is has to wear the denture that he has been wearing since he pulled his teeth until november or so. He hates those dentures with a passion. The only good thing about all this is it forced him to quit smoking. He couldn't smoke after his teeth were pulled because of dry socket and you can't smoke and do implants because they won't heal as well. Your brother-in law had implants? We have read that some people go to work the very next day. I find that so hard to believe. You are close we are 4 days apart. It is nice to have someone who can relate to were I am in my quit. I will be sure and let you know how he is doing. Thanks for asking.
