2 WEEKS 2DAY :)

19 years ago 0 547 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Everyone :) Well today is day 14, 2 weeks into my quit. How wonderful to be here right now. I can breathe much better. I can even function at a higher level than before. Last night was a survival of the fittest 'test' for me, and there were so many of you out there pulling for me through that awful experience. I want to send a BIG HUG to everyone who jumped on the board for me last night. I don't know what I would have done with myself if not for you all there to help. I know that I am in the right place and I am very grateful to everyone who has been encuraging and supportive to me. I have made some really good friends here already, and I didn't think that that would happen. When I started out on here, I just thought this was a place I could go to get some good advice and feedback. I never thought that it would turn into something more than just an advice column. BUT IT HAS! That is a real reward, let me tell you. Because in my life, I don't have lot of friends to begin with, just a very few who are also non-smokers. *thought occurs that she hasn't seen her non-smoker friends in a long time and wonders why* Well maybe it's time to start enjoying some of that air I've been inhaling and go have a day outside with a friend or 2 at a farmers market or something. I really had no idea what to write about being 2 weeks smoke free but I guess that just about sums it up, for the moment. I know how long-winded I can be at times (well most of the time LOL) but I have really begun to discover my passion for writing in coming here. It helps so much to write in my journal and post on here. This program is worth doing and keeping on your side in your quit. I know I will continue to keep you all at SSC by my side as much as possible. :) I just want to say thanks to you all and here's to going the rest of the month, year and LIFE smoke free! Many Blessings, Eve Proud to be a C.A.R.E.
