Ariell, congrtulations on you 6 months of not lighting up, not even one puff. That is amazing, I know how proud you must be. I am proud of you too. So what is your reward for those BIG SIX MONTHS??? I know it will be something special....You have had a wonderful journey so continue down that road and be careful of the bumps and curves. Give your father and Robyn congratulations too. It's great that you had support there also. You are some kind of gal to quit smoking and also take control of your weight at the same time... that takes determation and you must have a lot of it. So keep on doing what you are doing.... :) Blessings sent your way, SUNSHINE My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 102 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,742 Amount Saved: $357 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 17 Mins: 48 Seconds: 17

Six months ago today I became a non-smoker, after 30 years of smoking a pack a day. Since October 19th, I have not smoked 3,648 cigarettes--not even one single puff. I have gotten rid of all the weight I gained during my quit, plus some. I can breathe easier and I don't wake up in the morning trying to hack a lung out. I am rarely out of breath and have over $600 in cash sitting in an envelopethat would have been spent on nasty cigarettes. Both me and my house smell infinitely better than they used to. A big congratulations to me--and also to my father and Robyn as well, who also put down the cancer sticks at the same time. It is SO nice to be free of the addiction. I couldn't be happier about my decision to get those vile things out of my life. If you are just starting your quit, know that it DOES get a lot easier. Six months seemed to have just flown by. I rarely get a craving and when I do, it's barely even a fleeting thing...then POOF it's gone. Not one puff ever!
