I'm so glad U understand my running late around here lately. I am trying to catch up on all the house/yard work I let slide during our trips to the hospital. Assuming we are figuring from the quit date: Leah-today (I'm thinking I'll do something on 'her thread' so she'll see it) NUmeagain the 25th Sweetpea the 29th and you (Mc) May 1st That's as far as I've gotten-tell me if I'm wrong. ---- My prior record was 16 hours  So there's no doubt you guys helped me beat it. Once I reached the point where I could be around cigarettes and not 'get anxious' I knew I could cope with everything else. I honestly believe I will never go back to smoking. I wanted to be free from it very badly by the time I was actually able to 'get quit' so I will never forget OR let myself take the journey from 'there to here' for granted. -- I'm going to go post on Leah's thread and then go clean out my flower beds. Have a good weekend and thanks again for ....well for everything Mc. lol~Mc..... I'm 8 (e i g h t) months quit? OKAY then~let's PAR-TAY! Mc, you are such a thoughtful person. *hugz* You really surprised me! I came in and saw 'Nicokiller' and thought "W-What?" U honestly did not need 2do this. *another hug* You are super!!! (and sneaky~lol) -- I hear ya Sir (mentor) Shevie! It seems we 'are' a family that doesn't give up easily. Grandad is home and doing great. :) Thank you for thinking of us and thank you for letting Janet (smoggone) and others know where I was. Mc kindly emailed me and told me you did that. -- Wendy, it sure does seem like yesterday! I just don't know where the time went or exactly when I stopped feeling like I was 'quitting'. Yet, somewhere along the way I just WAS quit and all the rest is just everyday healthy living. I love it and I hope everyone gets to this point in there quit before they even think about giving up. Congrats again on your ONE year! -- Geez redrosie that IS a 'dirty' sofa! ~lol I better come over and help U do some spring cleaning ;) Ya know, I do believe U typed an exclamation point for everytime you have made me laugh since you joined *counting them* ummmm, no you are short a few. :) Thank you so much! -- Thank you Casey. Freedom is the word that describes 'everything' after 3 months ~lol -- NUmeagain t/y! U must be next. Can U or Mc tell me how you are figuring the days=months thing? *grinning, but serious* When are you, Mc, Sweetpea, Leah and thistime and the other FAF'ers at 8 months? *oh great~now they see exactly how bad I am at math* -- Lady, Thank you, it is nice to be back with you and the quit family. You are the glue that binds. The 'heart' of the SSC. Plus, your support goes beyond quitting smoking and I think that says even more about the kind of person you are. One year here we come! :) *hugz* -- ladybugg, My husband said that too. Not the '8 months' part but he said, "Quitting smoking looks good on me" I do look healthier and I feel healthier too. Healthy and happy, so let's dance! :) -- My love 2all -- Hey!! Something just

Goodmorning Sunshine :) Why thank you! U are a ray of light yourself. I've noticed your enlightened wisdom and positive personality around here. It shines bright. Keep up your great journey, congrats on your 106 days and enjoy those flower beds :) Thanks again. -- OinkX2~so good 2CU again *hugz* I have liked you from the start. You are such a good guy. U really deserve to enjoy a smoke free life so keep up the good work (and thank you for saying that :) ) -- BFS!!!!! :eg: My partner N crime...waz up? I hope this note finds a smart, articulate girl making straight A's. (or A's & B's is okay too ;) ) Now about 'quit help'~ that's a highway that heads both directions. U helped me too. Thank you! No worries about the recent illness in my family. He is great now and I didn't mind staying with him. You would like him. He enjoys indepth convos and has a sense of humor. Look at those stats of yours Pam. U are going all the way this time! Keep believing in yourself as much as we do. :) -- Cuddles, Hey girl. Thank you. Don't you 'ever' leave here. -- ItsIronic, Calling me a leader makes me grin because: When I first joined I was a bit of a basket case. I didn't think I could quit. I wanted to quit but I was pretty sure that I had some sort of "defective gene" ;) that made me weaker than the average smoker. I even foolishly set my quit for OVER 30 days away. N other words~ I couldn't lead my horse 2water OR make him drink :) So, I sincerely thank you for making me feel good. The folks here (like you) are such good people it's a nice place to hang out. Please stay for the long haul. It goes from knee buckling craves that consume every thought.. 2urges that take you 2the edge... 2thoughts that will make you second guess your decision 2quit if you dwell on them... 2days when you forget you EVER smoked. The radom mememory may remind you of smoking but even that has faded over time for me. Always keep the faith until time is on your side. I'm a world away from my first 3 months. :) -- So, now it is time for everyone reading this to think of one thing that U can do today 2 make yourself feel better. Now let's go do it :) All the best~ [img]h
