talking about delayed responses - this is one too.  Glad the idea helped and you have an option - you know this also gives you a "no excuse".  lol, sometimes I hate it when that happens.  In this case, I think it's a good thing.  I hope you do too.

hey goofy..so about the delay in response!

I got one of the kids to lend me their Ip3 player or Mpod..whatever!  No easy task!  And they loaded it for me with a few choice songs...the wife was sick last week so I was in a panic and happened to look at your response..your right this was great alternative to walking with the wife...I even went a little faster and it was kind of calming

Thanks very much..I would have never thought of something so simple!

Jimmy, if for some reason your wife can't go on an occasion, have you thought about taking your favorite kind of music and a head set.  Just a suggestion.  I like singing along and concentrating on the song and words, keeps my wondering and thinking and all that stuff that leads us downward.

I think taking your wife is a great option, just thought of this as a second idea if she can't go sometime!

Jimmy,

Do get out there and take your wife.  If this helps you focus and keeps you positive, it is a good thing.  Good for you for recognizing and addressing the issue.

i am surrounding my self with positive activities and events....  I have started going for walks by myself..but my head starts to go negative and it pushes me to far...  I think i might walk with the wife for now..she is a good listener.

Excellent idea Jimmy!

Journaling is beneficial and fun for everyone!  What a great way to start the kids back to school and get them writing!

Thanks Diva and how are you doing today?

The journal is going well and I bought one for everyone in the house...when i ground the kids or need to be away from the wife we all write in our journal!  I never thought it would work..my intention was to get them off my back so i could write in my journal and use it to help me...well it turned around and now everyone is writing!

My wife wants to make a scheduled time for it..but i convinced her to let the kids ease into and for us to do it on our own time...baby steps everyone!

Ok,

So the only thing I have started is the journal..one I do at home..as i mentioned before i cant near this computer until school starts and I have more time to actually start the program.  if feels pretty good to write in it everyday for a while or even sometimes a quick sentence of what i am feeling....

more to come!

Jimmy,

The program will help and it is a step by step process, so if you can schedule yourself some computer time everyday, this can assist you in many ways.

Keep us updated and fight for your computer time!
