Hey Hugs, Things are not always what they seem. I finally broke down tonight and had a Chile Cheese Dog and it was delicious and my blood sugar was fine after..Go figure. No stomach ache either.

Yum!!!

Hugs

There are a lot of different forms of Arthritis and some mimic Rheumatoid but aren't. A lot are bacterial. and some are simply food and drug intolerances. But in all of them the damage is done by white cells killing bacteria or cleaning up the damage from them. Some times they are just cleaning out the toxins from food intolerances. Arthritis is just a fancy name for inflammation. Inflammation always comes from white cells doing there job. Heat and fluid are products of it trying to do it's job. Some of the bacteria that mimic Arthritis live on cholesterol. Some prefer the byproducts of the night shade family. Some like sugar. The list is long. And some are nothing more than allergies so it pays to be food conscious.
I find it pays to know what makes you worse and don't touch it. Night shades are not a problem for me but sugar is as is corn flour. MSG and Aspartame are especially bad.
High blood pressure and anxiety go with arthritis. The first is from excess fluid from inflammation the second is from toxins that displace oxygen and cause confusion.
In the States more so than Canada the vast majority of Arthritis isn't, It is Lyme disease. Second to that is a bacteria that eats the protein cells need to reproduce causing you to lose cartilage and muscle. Looks like both Rheumatoid and Ostio but is neither. Since Doctor on both sides of these Ideas have been trying to prove their case and failing it would be wise to do your own trials, removing foods one at a time for a month and looking for benefits. It isn't hard to do.
A simple marker is that if you crave it it is probably not good for you. And it has to be you specific. The only good fat that doesn't bother me is Olive oil. But it could be the chemicals that are in good fats that bother me. The labels are scary. Trial and error will dispel the lies on the internet.

Davit, I didn't know avocados were so delicate. Those containers are a good idea, from someone who has to innovate to survive. I'm finding it awkward with time, with arthritis, so I pay attention to posts about food too, and Red's diet. Looks like you're immersed in your passion of healthy eating Red!

I am on a low carb high fat diet plus I am also wheat free grain free. Low carb vegatables are big part of my diet so this is how I get my fibre.

Hugs, what works good since I take my own shopping bags is to take along a couple of big Ziplock storage containers. They stack. I can put squishibles in them. With me it is usually bananas. Mushrooms I just put on top. I don't buy tomatoes. No one is in a hurry at my store.

I'll be looking for a recipe for avocados. As I unpacked, half of the bag I had were mushy. It's either how I packed the groceries, or my driving. I also dropped the bag when I was unpacking. And the cashier had a fire up her a$$ to get me out the door with everyone else. Big date I guess.

Hi Ashley

There is a diet here that really works so I'm trying to get information on it. It is mostly vegetables,  even for breakfast.

Hi Ashley, What's trickey for me is choosing veggies, since I'm trying to meet my parent's needs. I'm going to get a chopper to simplify the food prep, since salads will be easier, as well as fruits, legumes. I also forget about myself, and end up snacking around my parent's needs.
