My norm was 60 a day! Three packs was usual, and sometimes more... I was pretty much a chain smoker. And now I really feel it! I had smoked for 34 years and I would say the last ten were at about the 3 pack a day mark. Isn't that sad? :(
WOW!!! That is wonderful! When I was younger I was a PADI instructor and loved to dive! I lived for three years in Puerto Rico and really enjoyed diving in th VI. Need lots of breath for that activity---good thing you don't smoke! :)
You deserve a blue ribbon! Or a gold medal! That is SUPER! Shame on your husbands friend to tempt you by smoking while knowing you quit, but, golly, YOU DID IT!!!! What an accomplishment! :)
I never did any dipping or chewing, but I did like to come and read the posts...........an interesting bunch :8o:
But haven't heard from them much lately...how come?
Being from Tennessee, I work with a lot of chewers and dippers. You learn real quick to look inside the Mellow Yellow can on your desk before taking a swig! :gasp:
You are quite a lady, Lady. I am sure you described the majority of us who also turned a blind eye to the horrors of smoking related illnesses. Thanks for the reminder.........it solidifies my resolve to quit! When I doubt my continued ability to quit, it helps to come here and read stuff like this. Thanks.
