Finally, a break

Great job on 60 days - I am chasing you. I am impressed that you DID it and quit. YOU are a big quitter. :) I love to say that about myself. I never smoked as much as you and not as long - but the devil that is nicotine had it's hold on me SOOOO bad. I honestly know that my mental committment this time to it is getting me through. I just DON'T want to ever smoke. I can sit next to my hubby outside while he is smoking and all I think is YUCK! I don't want to smell like that. I hope that you will hang your hat on the HUGE accomplishment of being a quitter FOREVER! You have gotten this far and you can go farther. My little helper was the commit lozenge - I tapered off so gradual - hey I didn't even have one today. - I still have some hours left to the evening - but one - not bad - I have two more weeks of that program and I am FOLLOWING directions on this. Use the tools to keep the quit. Keep the damn patch on if it keeps you from picking up a cancer stick. Go for it and hang on!

KNIGHTS FINAL LIST take a look.. pretty impressive !!!

Phoenix - I am so glad you bumped this post! I hope many of us are doing Tony the Tiger GREAT! I can't believe it has been two weeks since I checked in. I am SOOO busy and feeling so great. I keep adding workouts and loving to hit the gym. Talk about replacing something bad with something good! I feel so good. I am so excited to hit the beach. Hopefully, I won't be so busy jogging that I miss it. I AM JOGGING HERE!!!! More weight is dropping cause I CAN BREATHE!!! Very important thing that my nasty habit was making me have difficulty with. I am improving so fast, my doctor took me off my singulair. HUMMMM - could the smoking have been making my asthma WORSE! I am so happy to not be so sucked in to that nasty habbit. Now to get the hubby to make the QUIT!!! Knights ROCK AND ROLL. Who is out there? Who is hanging at the beach? A Knights call to the Round Table

River - Rock Star!!! I am totally hanging and doing great. I am totally using the gym as my replacement. :) Good and healthy was to quit. I feel like I am 18 again. :) I can't wait to hit the beach. I hope I don't miss it - I have been totally filling my time with healthy projects and taking care of business. Even relaxing! Totally, doing great. I hope and pray for the rest of the Knights to be hanging on and doing great. Feeling ... Shakey

Rob & River, OK, here she comes the spaz! I AM HUGGING YOU BOTH!!!! I hate that you are having bad days. :( That makes me sad. I have to say that I have had some heavy moments and wanted a cig sooooo bad - but love the hubby - he stopped me twice. He told me what I asked him to say. "Allie, you know how much worse you felt with the guilt you carried because you did smoke. Your mother died of cancer! Don't give in - live on." He actually memorized this and told it to me on two BAD days. Nothing like sending me the Mom dying bit to straighten my s--- out. :) I have to pop back into my happy-go-lucky world and tell you both, YOU ARE ROCK STARS! You are digging the quit and making the world know it! Yell it! I AM A ROCK STAR AND A HUGE QUITTER. It is worth the laugh at the end. Very fun to yell out the window while driving. ") I really hope the two of you find resolve with the "drepression monster". That is what I call him. I had to slay that dragon many years ago. Oh, the roads we travel can be covered in glass and that sucks if you are barefoot. :eg: Off for now - Hold your head up! GO KNIGHTS! (And no - I was NEVER a cheerleader - just a spaz.)
