Ok, am I hallucinating?

Hi KC! I am at where you were once was...*insert wide eyes here* Did your brain fog feel like a hangover? Or perhaps you were on a merry go round, jsut spinning and getting dizzy or perhaps as if you had taken some pain meds, feel asleep and then woke up, feeling you were still on the pain meds? That is how I feel!! Coming Clean

TY KC :) I replied to your post on the spaced out post you had done...I am now where you once were...ok..go read it..makes sense there...ROTFLMBO!!! EVE!! BREATHE!! Take a deep breathe...feel the air in your lungs...feel your tummy expand...feel the brain cells bumping into each other in that fog...smell the flowers...smell the rain as it gently washes away that yucky pollen!! Smell the very being of the air...embrace the air like a long lost friend...feel it as it wraps your soul around it.... Breathe deeply and push out the toxins....push them out Eve!! I know you can do it!! ONE DAY HAS PASSED

Good for you!!! Did you read you little assesment about coughing? Your cilia is growing back and it is sweeping that crap from your chest!! It's productive and it is all coming up!! PLUS it's all that mucus your body produced whilst you were smoking! I am coughing but not as much now :) Drinks LOTS and LOTS of water or juice :) I have found the more liquids I have drank, the easier it is :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 19 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 155 Amount Saved: $38 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 17 Mins: 5 Seconds: 28

The Mature Quit

<---waves to Lady. I will be the 1st to step up to the plate and voice how I have felt for the last 3 weeks...I have been so scared...crying fits...anger..hatred towards myself..the whole kit and kaboodle...I swore I was going mental and I would end up in a straight jacket before too long..... But after talking to you, LN, Eve, others who have told me the fog is a normal thing, and seeing the Mods popping into the threads w/ encouragement...I am not so scared anymore. I hope that made sense! LOL!!! The Mature Quit

Exactly Christine!! I am walking on the bricks others before me have laid!! Each time I speak about the dreadful fog, I am freaked out by it or scared, and as soon as I read where most people have experienced it and it does go away, I put my mind at ease and I can heal. And when someone posts how long it took for them, then I use that as a 'guide' to work towards...a light at the end of my tunnel. Yes, we are all different but at the same time, we are all in the same pond, but swimming at different speeds. Just knowing someone has experienced what I am experiencing right now, reassures me I am not crazy and I am not whacked out, etc and everything will be just fine. Kiwi put it bluntly for me and Eve telling me her fog was lifing, gave me how mine will do the same soon. I hope that made sense :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 19 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 155 Amount Saved: $38 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 16 Mins: 59 Seconds: 20

OT: 2nd Reward

TY Melanie :) I sorta have learned if I reward myself for a job well done, then my family will benefit from me rewarding myself :) I have such a hard time dealing w/ rewards but once I learn to accept it is for me and it isnt taking away from my family, then it will come easier :) I used my stress release tape last night and my kids loved it too :) They said this morning they slept so peacefully :) It is like being born all over again. It's like taking off the sunglasses and looking at life thru my eyes again. I wish I could articulate it w/o sounding like such a goof ball. I think I actually love myself at this very moment. I am so very proud of myself!! My children have realized Mom isnt perfect and they have actually started helping me out. *kodak moment* I feel alive!
