I am starting my quit on the 18th of March, I will be using Zyban I am on my fourth tablet today, another 2 days and I will be on 2 a day, then 5 days later I will stop smoking, that's on a Sunday my day off. I have made quite a few attempts to stop in the past but from the 2nd of April smoking will be banned everywhere in Wales ,and hopefully this will be the final nail in the coffin of nicotine. I spent last week in Belgium and its no smoking there, and after enduring a week of trying to find somewhere to smoke, I came to the conclusion it is now harder to smoke, than giving up, because its no fun being outside in the rain and wind and cold to have something that is harming me, and anyone looking at me who didn't smoke would be thing I must be mental, and talking about feeling like a Leper that's how I felt.

Could anyone tell me about zyban for the first 6 days I have had 1 tablet a day, yesterday I started 2 a day and my quit date is this coming Sunday.
I have continued to smoke while taking the course if anything more than normal, but today I notice a difference in the taste of the cigarette and am not smoking quite so much is this how its supposed to work, I know I will also have to have willpower, but it would be nice to hear from someone who gave up smoking with zyban.

Hi everyone day 1 completed no smoke ra ra ra I seem unable to open the quit meter and also the instant messenger I have a Mac any advice would be welcome thanks.
Hi maxim and scot and everyone its my 2nd day today and seems to be going quite well, I am using Zyban, my biggest motivation is from the 2nd of April there will be no smoking in Wales, anywhere inside I dont want to be one of the sad people smoking outside in all weathers.
I did that in Belgium a few weeks ago and it made me feel terrible, and thats when I decided smoking is now getting frowned upon, worldwide so its going to be tougher to find places to smoke.
I knew all the health scares, and the cost of smoking, and that didn't do it for me, but to feel like an idiot outside the hotel standing there in the rain and cold, the non smokers must of thought I was bonkers, and who could blame them anyway good luck to us all, we want to be free just like all the non smokers of this world.
