Going it alone- drug free, anyone else attempting this?

Hi alter ego,
I'm dave85 and I'm new here. I admire that you're (going it alone)
that is med free. That thought almost gives me a terror episode just thinking about it.
I'll be where you are soon and will probably need a structured environment to withdraw.
I had to do it once before. I'm taking alprazolam now and it's going to be nasty to stop.
Good luck and thanks for sharing this.

What is you biggest fear?

I suppose the biggest fear I face may be a lack of time. I would like to be happy while I'm still well enough to enjoy my life.
Presently I am not happy in general and with my life. Hoping to change that.

Hi, new to this site

Hi I'm Dave and new here.
I've had a lot of experience with meds Lance, but I really can't give advice on the topic
because everyone responds differently to the same medication. Good advice though "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Myth or Fact

Yeah I wonder why some shrinks are so resistent to prescribe meds that a patient knows works for them
when they well know that depression and anxiety disorders are mostly medical in nature.
Anyway I'm enthusiastic and hopeful about using the program. It's my first week so I hope I'll still feel the
same way in another week. bold

Still bad

Lance,
dave 85 and still new. Never change your medications for a good reason. And for that matter for no good reason!
Don't fix what ain't broken and be more carefull when you evaluate your needs. Your shrinks suggestions are just that.
Work the program as it is suggested and go back to the meds that are least uncomfortable. Can't say much more.
Everybody is different.   Hang in there! Good luck buddy!
