Caddie, My heart goes out to you as I know all to well how stressfull and challenging University can be. Try breaking your assignment down into smaller tasks and take small breaks in between. Reward yourself for accomplishing each task throughout your break and when you've finished your paper. Keep persevering, Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Sillyme, Congrats! You handled this situation well and we are proud! Try writting a letter to this individual and let out all the anger and frustration. Don't send of course. It may make you feel better to let it all out. Also don't forget to keep up with your rewards. Keep persevering, Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

Rusty, thank you for putting in words what I believe to be so true..."one is too many and one thousand is not enough." this is exactly what I have come to believe about my addiction to nic. the very essence of addiction is loosing self control around a particular substance. i will never be able to have another cig because then I will be right back to never being able to have my fill of them. when I was in my early years of college and quite poor because of it, I would be on such a tight budget. I would choose cigs over food when it came down to it, and it did. can you believe it!!! I am so grateful that I am much kinder and respectful to myself as I age. Hi Rusty, I just remember those first 2 weeks of my quit. I refuse to go through that again, so lighting up again is not an option. I also have to say that any desire to smoke has now gone away Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 195 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,863 Amount Saved: 1462.5 Life Gained: Days: 32 Hrs: 13 Mins: 55 Seconds: 3

Hey Rusty- I would have to say that the main player in saving my quit so many, many times is knowing I would never be able to do this again; I would go to my death smoking in a society that views me like scum. Pretty scarey. :8o: My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 202 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,118 Amount Saved: $1818 Life Gained: Days: 33 Hrs: 8 Mins: 22 Seconds: 56

Pretty simple: no cigarettes in the house and no going to store to buy any(no money). Also said don't do that anymore . judy My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 174 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,547 Amount Saved: $348 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 3 Mins: 49 Seconds: 16

Today what kept me quit: was the knowledge that if I smoke I would be hurting myself, inflicting more damage on my already damaged body. Would I poke myself in the eye no, would I cut or purposely damage myself in any way no. So why would I smoke. No issue. I want to take care of myself not uncare for myself. So no smoking here. Thanks Phillip My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 193 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,876 Amount Saved: $1447.5 Life Gained: Days: 31 Hrs: 14 Mins: 3 Seconds: 52
