Leslie, congrats on 6 wonderful years. I want to thank you for telling us (me) that it is not always easy for some of us. I have had my share of struggle and I still struggle, but keep moving forward. Your words give me hope and they also tell me that I am not alone. Thanks you!! Haha Audrey! Bear is cool, always has been in my book :) To those who might be reading this.... it was NOT an easy quit for me (see Nov. 2002 Hall of Fame) I wish I could have been one of the more fortunate ones that could quit and go on with their lives with no after effects.... It took me months to get my quit under control. After several years and several attempts I was finally able to conquer my addiction. I vowed to myself that I COULD NOT SMOKE no matter what, and through all the trials and tribulations I've gone through in the past 6 years I've held myself accountable to no one but ..... Me :) Those first few months were pure hell.... but afterwards I could feel the freedom, more and more.... After 20+ years of smoking over 2 packs a day..... I know I won't smoke, I won't allow myself to because I have too much respect for myself and because I don't want to go through the pure hell of quitting again!!! ;) My best to all ~ Leslie ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/14/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 2191 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 87,640 Amount Saved: $7,668.50 Life Gained: Days: 219 Hrs: 4 Mins: 36 Seconds: 14
