BIG C, little c, what begins with c?

MM,

I felt your pain as I read your post.  I felt the same pain nearly 2 years ago when I was diagnosed with an aggressive Sarcoma near my lung.  No one could give me a prognosis and to this day we take one day at a time.

The chemo. is horrible as is anything else they throw at you, but life is the most precious thing.  The battle is an enormous one, but I found that trying to remain positive as I had during my quit did help enormously.  I reckoned that I had fought the Nicodemon and won and by God I was going to fight this!  There were a few down days, but really not so many......you struggle onwards and upwards.  The tests are trying and exhausting, particularly emotionally, but stay strong and you will do better.

Now 2 years later, I am feeling almost normal again.  Am I cured?........No, that is not possible.  The original tumour has vanished, but it may return, no one knows, but I can live my life almost  as I wish, and remaining in this positive frame of mind does help with any cancer.  Do not dwell on sad, bad stories, rather look forward to whatever good things may be to come as you fight your way through.

I am thinking of you MM and praying for you to have the strength for what is ahead.

NEVER LOOK BACK.  THE FUTURE IS AHEAD!

Love Lolly.

MissMarble,

Shocked as can be and now for options.  Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and there are 5 in the states, use out of box, cutting edge weekly low dose chemo and also  complementary therapy (e.g. ) vitamin c C drip.  They are good.  It's going tobe a  haul however it can be taken care.

MM,

I can't tell you how shocked and saddened we are to hear your news.  Having had cancer in our family, I can only say that there are lots of different types and no-one knows what the outcome will be - not even the specialists.  No-one knows why some people are still here, when their prognosis was not good, or indeed the opposite.  Please don't dwell on Joe Cool - there are doubts over how authentic those posts were.

It really is "one day at a time." A second opinion is not a bad idea...it could also open up other options.

I'm so sorry you are having to go through this.  Lots of love and hugs to you.

Lizzie
