Cuddles was my cb name in 1976, and I love to cuddle. It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... "Mc" is short for McAllister, my maiden name, and it's been my nickname as long as I can remember. My dad was always "Big Joe Mc" & I was little "Mc". Most of the time I use it as my initials, too. mc My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/31/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 342 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,134 Amount Saved: $1368 Life Gained: Days: 33 Hrs: 7 Mins: 23 Seconds: 4

Hi Jacko. I am Lady. When my daughter was little and we would get seperated at the store, she would yell "mom" and every woman in the store would look around. One day we were in the mall and she had wondered off again. She started calling Lady. I knew it was her voice. It kind of stuck after that. She is now 19 and she and her brother (12) still call me Lady. If I'm in a store and hear a child yelling "Lady" I know that child belongs to me. I am Lady in my email addresses, to my kids and here at the SSC. I guess I can now say I am the Lady that quit smoking :) . I got sotaman because I am in the Air Force and I now live in North Dakota.. And some of the outdoorsman in the area complain a lot about people from Minnesota that is where I still call home. So to rub it in there face and show I am always going to be proud of where I came from I got the name sotaman.. It is spelled right people think I like a soft drink or soda but to me it is pop, or I sit on a sofa a lot.

I got the nick name Duke the day I was born. My mom gave up on me and couldn't deliver. they used forceps to yank me out. They broke my nose and blackened both my eyes. My father said I looked like a fighter (boxer) and gave me Duke. I'm now 47 and a computer geek - so the Cyber comes in to play - To make it difficult, I dropped the e in Cyber and it comes out to CybrDuke. And the rest is history.... "Ok Missy!" I'm not sure how many times I heard my mother say that in a stern voice. And, for those of us in the south, we know what a "hissy fit" is... and for those who don't know... well... it's why I got called missy so much. So, there you have it. My name actually isn't derived from "misfit" (although that probably would work just as well!)... it's a combo of the above. btw.. it bears no resemblance to my real name, Hope. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 552 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,048 Amount Saved: $1970.64 Life Gained: Days: 58 Hrs: 11 Mins: 51 Seconds: 16
