Hi Koneko..

Welcome...

It's a great group of people here who have supported me in their "cyber" way...  I'm so thankful to have a place to share my feelings and not be "judged"... and have people share their opinions and views.

Problems seem a lot easier to face when you have people around that understand where you're coming from or to give you a different perspective on things.

Best of luck on your road to success...

While it's not nice to have this anxiety it is nice to know that I'm not alone.  I've felt like I was just going crazy for suddenly not being able to eat like normal one day.  Thank you for the replies :)

Hi Koneko,

I'm also quite new here and already have found it a huge help.

The most help comes from knowing that you're not alone and certainly not going mad!

I also suffered from this symptom of anxiety.  I get rid of it by drinking water or nibbling something small.

The more you panic over something being in your throat; the worse it feels.
As well as exposure, the program covers questions that you should ask yourself when you are having a panic attack or feel you are going to have a panic attack - they might help in this situation.

E.g.  "What's different this time from any other time I've felt this sensation?"

Welcome !

Nice to meet you. I like this place a lot and I hope you will too.
I do feel like there is something stuck in my throat too when I have a panic attack or before one which causes me to have a panic attack.

Thank you for the replies, I'll just have to take it one day at a time :)
