Feel proud that you asserted yourself despite feeling uncomfortable

It's not an easy thing to do that's for sure!

Thanks Ashley,

I was told I'm too accomodating, and feeling uncomfortable when I assert myself is probably why I have regrets

Hi Hugs,

I don't see that as you putting your foot in your mouth you were just stating you opinion. Everyone has a right to their own opinion even if it is contrary to another person's opinion.

I wonder if anyone's put their foot in their mouth?

Today, after 4 years of frustration, without cooperation from neighbours, our neighbour laughed off the fact that pigeons won't go away, by spraying them with water.

I offered the suggestion that waiting four years was too long for her.  I'd put up spikes and had success, preventing their roosting on our side.  Our neigbhour stated that the 57 dollars was too pricey for her, and she'd rather use a broom and water hose for the poop, while I looked in disbelief.

I wish I hadn't suggested their lack of interest, since I further suggested their bird feeder attracted the pigeons(I didn't mention the other menagerie of squirrels, etc).  I don't wish to contribute to pest control professionals, because the cause was their bird feeder.

I wish I hadn't put my foot in my mouth, but maybe they'll figure out the source was that bird feeder - and they did remove it!

Anybody out there second-guess themselves?
