Shari,

Thank you for sharing in my joy today.  It really means a lot to me.  I want to share in your joy also and congratulate you on your  successful exposure at the movie theater.  I am also finding that people are more relaxed around me now that I am more relaxed.  My partner has told me many times that he can see a real difference in me and that he is very proud of me. It really does feel good to see the people around us happier because we are happier.   Keep up the good works Shari.  Your friend,  Red

Teebs,

Thanks and I want to congratulate you on your decision to start working on your exposure.  I am so excited for you. I am sure you will be happy with the end result and yes the world will be a less scary place. You should be very very proud of yourself for taking this step.   Remember to reward your self in some way for your accomplishments.  You deserve it for all your hard work.

Jason,

Thank you for the positive response to my success. In answer to you questions. I would have to say the parts of the program that have helped me the most are. #1 First reading though the program and getting a understanding of my condition. #2  The session on challenging your negative thoughts and the 10 questions list has been invaluable to me. #3 The session in Mods corner about negative core beliefs that we have been working on for the last 6 wks has really made a huge difference for me. Things are really starting to make more sense now that I am getting to the root my problems and in turn I am progressing forward again. I really find all of the sessions we done in Mods corner very helpful. #4  Posting and reading posts has show me other ways to deal with anxiety.  #5  The support group, and the give and take in the group from all the Members and Educators has been invaluable to me.  There are so many things and I am sure I have forgotten some and they will come to me later.  I am sure other members in the group can expand on this and we can all help each other out.  In answer to your first question whats next.  I am going to let myself rest for a few days and then move on and tackle a few more of my negative core beliefs and maybe sign up for a class in September.

Red,

I share in your joy!  You made a key point regarding, not only have you changed for the better, but so have others around you.  I shocked my daughter by sitting in the center of the movie theater with her instead of choosing an end seat.  I'm finding my family is more relaxed and really happy for me.  I'm  so proud of you!  I'm finding the world a less scary place as well.  God bless you and continue your excellent work.  And, thanks for sharing, it is so encouraging and helpful to all of us.  Your friend, Shari

this is great reddesertflower,

It sounds that you have really committed to the program and all your work is reaping some great rewards.

In your opinion, what is the next step?

Also, what have been some of the most useful parts of the program?

Please share so that others can duplicate your success.

So happy for you!

This has been a month of exposure for me.  I have been able to conquer some of my fears and dispel some of my negative core beliefs by working this program and doing exposure work.  I have been able to make phone calls, make appointments, pick a new Dr. and take new medication.  I have learned that I can trust Drs and Nurses  and that there are good ones out there.  I can take meds without fear. The phone ringing is not a bad thing.  This sky in not falling and there maybe help on the other end of the line. This has been a month of discovery for me.  I have learned many new things about myself and the world around me. I am challenging my negative thoughts and negative core beliefs and I am changing for the better.  If you open your mind and work this program you will be surprised at the difference you will see in yourself and others.  The world will be a less fearful place for you to live in.
