Soxfan64, Glad to hear you were able to work through it. Maybe you could share how you accomplished this so that others may learn from you? Danielle ____________________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

I had one the other day too, while on a bike ride w/my son. It was on the trip back, in a wide open area. I was able to work through it but taking a short break and focusing on the road and my surroundings.

Lulu, Thank you for sharing your experiences with us today. You have given many members hope that CBT does indeed assist them with panic and anxiety. We are extremely happy that you are coping well these days. You have taken the time to go through the steps of our program. Give yourself a huge "thumbs up" for completing our program at your own pace. You have showed yourself and others today that you have become a confident and strong person over the past 12 months. Congratulations with your success Lulu! Melanie and The Panic Center Support Team :)

I had a panic attack. Why am i posting this in the success stories??? Well i havnt had a panic attack for a few months thanks to CBT and alot of determination on my behalf so i wanted you to know that it can be done.My only advice that i swear works for me is to not try and get rid of panic and anxiety but to learn to live with it and not fight it.Sounds hard but thats how i do it,face those fears dont run from them.I still have loads of anxiety at times especially if im not sleeping well but on the days where its bad i lessen my schedule if i can and just slow down and do the slow breathing and just look at me ive survived it so far :) I want to put a huge THANKYOU to the moderators and to everyone who ever responded to any of my posts i truly dont know how i would have done it alone it has been a really difficult 12months but i am so much stronger and alot more confident than i have ever been.Im not around as often anymore but i still check in every so often to see if i can help. Lulu..
