Hi,
It's my first time on here as well. I've had anxiety and panic attacks for about 5 years and recently started to have episodes of depression. Just when I started to get a hold of controlling my panic attacks, I developed an extreme sadness and being extremely unmotivated and feeling like I don't deserve anything good. I completely understand where you're coming from and I hope we both can get better! I won't lie to you, when I was filling out the questionnaire form for depression/anxiety, it made me realize just how isolating this illness is. So I'm here for you and I can't wait to meet everyone else in this community!

Welcome!
I am sorry to read that you feel you are slipping back into a bout. I think it is great that you are able to recognise this and are looking for supports. This resourceful mindset will help you to bounce back more quickly.
Reaching out is a great first step. I also encourage you to check out the program. I suggest starting with the depression program and then moving on to the anxiety program when you are ready. Anxiety and depression can get better. Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) is proven to be the most effective treatment for both conditions and CBT is what this program is based on. Take you time with it and ask questions whenever required. We are in this together!
Do you have an idea what may have triggered the symptoms to come back? Any thoughts on what may have changed?
Hope to read more from you soon!

Hello,
It's my first time on here. I have had anxiety for about 12 years now (panic attacks). It calmed down a while ago but then had depression slip in and take over from time to time. I feel like I'm slipping back into a bout. My anxiety is escalating and my depressive symptoms are too - I've learned to identity the early symptoms so now I really could use peer support, which I hope this site can help with. It helps have empathic, compassionate listeners to talk with/to who get it.
