destanie, Welcome to the site. It has been a great help for me already and I've only been part of this group for about 2 weeks. Don't hesitate to open yourself up as everything here is confidential and annonymous as far as you want it to be. We are all in the same boat here and need each other very much. Again, welcome, and we hope to hear from you soon. Kelly

Destinie, I think you will find some comfort and help here. I'm new to the site as well, but I've been treated for depression and anxiety for at least ten years. Believing that you are the "odd man out" is one of the toughest parts of depression to cope with, but you'll find that there are many people just like you who struggle toward healing. Good luck.

destanie, Welcome to The Depression Center. We thank you for sharing your story with us today. This support group is full of supportive individuals who may be able to help you answer some questions regarding Depression. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. Start here and perhaps better assess the situation by taking the test. We also have developed a Depression Program. This program is 16-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@depressioncenter.net. Take care and we hope to hear from you soon. I am new to all of this, I really don't know what to do or where to start. It's kinda scary, but I know I need help with my depression. I can't take beening sad and upset all the time. when I know I had a problem I talked to my dad and he said I needed to get help. He went with me to the doctors and they put me on some pills. But I don't know any one that has with throw this and its hard to find someone to talk to.
