Angel,
There we go! Finally technology is working with us. :)
If you're truly concerned, you could always consult your family doctor again to make sure there are no changes. Until then, try to change your focus to something else.
Some members also find it helpful to learn deep breathing techniques.
Feel better.

She,
You've received some really great advice from you fellow member. Chest pain is a fairly common symptom of panic disorder, however we do recommend you keep working with your doctor and let him monitor you.

Gal,
Sorry to hear you're having a rough time. It's not easy to switch medication so keep your doctor aware of the side effects you're experiencing.
Until the withdrawals are over, be kind to yourself.
Hang in there and come back to vent anytime.

QueenieB,
Thanks for sharing your story and welcome to the Panic Center.
I know this must be frustrating. Hang in there. Every member faces their own panic related challenges, this is yours. Start working through the program and challenging those anxious thoughts.
If you have any questions, just ask.
Remember, sometimes all we can do is take it one baby step at a time.
Keep strong.

Hi Jane,
Yes, light sensitivity is fairly common and has been shown for some to trigger panic attacks. It is not yet fully understood, but most research suggests it is linked with biological functionning.
Like any trigger, it's time to start challenging those anxious thoughts. Keep working with your therapist and through the program.
Take small steps, you'll conquer this trigger!
Keep persevering.

Jane,
During a panic attack, your body' fight or flight response is engaged. This produces many changes in your physical functionning; increased heart rate, increased respiration... It may take your body some time to re-adjust after an attack.
Be sure to mention your symptoms at your next doctor' visit to rule out anything medical.

Angel,
Start challenging those anxious thoughts and preparing for your flight with visualization exercises. Read through our forums, many have felt just as you did and made it through. Perhaps they will inspire you to do the same.
You can do this!

Angel,
The degree of intensity will vary. Take it slowly if a minute is too long work your way towards it.
Baby steps. Practice controlling your breathing at the same time.
Let us know if we can assist you any further.
