Myth Or Fact?

Hi Josie, I 'm glad to here this. I am useing a (NRT) to quit. I was not planing to use anything but when I did the work book it suggested that I use a (NRT) do I figered I better do as I was told. I sometimes feel that I am somehow cheating by useing it. I tell myself that I am whimping out. I guess I would rather be a whimp that dose not smoke. than a smoker who is not a whimp. The (NRT) is helping me not lose my cool. In the pass when I quit I would get relly emotional and that effected my job and family so I would start smoking. I used it to jestify taking thr 1st puff. I am not going to smoke so this time I am going to do every thing that I am told so that I can not play head games with my self. The addiction is so sniky that I have to think and talk to people before when I start thinking that quiting it hurting my family. Smoking hurt them more. Thanks for the info today. Hi Meg, The support is here when you need it. Just promise your self that you have to come in here and read every time you think about smoking. That is what I am doing. I fond that I am reading know because I want to. the people in here are great. I was afrade to quit Too. I allmost did not do it. I started working through the work book and it helped. I think that the hardest part was making the quit date. Drink lots and lots of Ice water and keep a positive aditude and you will make it. Let me know how your doing. I just quit 4 days my self.
