The doctor just started me on remeron. I maxed out paxil at 60 mg. I relapsed into an anxiety attack about two weeks ago, that pretty much brought me to the emergency room of the hospital.
They mentioned re-evaluating my meds and doing an evaluation to see what exactly I have.. the oncall psych mentioned OCD, but wasn't sure, and depression seems to be mixed in there.
Is drowsiness, dizziness and having a foggy head normal for side effects of remeron? This one seems more intense than when I first started paxil.
Thanks Luke for your reply.. haven't heard of pameron? (sp) yet.. I had recently switched from paxil. I have a mixed form of depression, mostly combined with OCD and post-traumatic stress of some sort related to a car accident that occurred about eight years ago.
I tried half a tablet of remeron this time, 15 mg; this time the side effects weren't as intense, although I still have abnormally vivid REM sleep and dry mouth.
