Hi Adamedic and D,
I'm not a great student here since I'm very much a procrastinator for the tools and info section of this program, but I am saved a lot by the many souls on this discussion site. Glad for you to join.

Welcome Adam,

Your Dr. did the right thing sending you to the program and I am glad your have joined us here at the support group.
I joined on Jan 7 of this year and am seeing great improvements in myself.  This is a great program with very helpful and caring educators and a wonderful support group of caring people that really understand what you are going through. Post as often as you like it really helps.

Welcome D.

I want welcome you to the group.  I have been agoraphobic for many years now.  I started the program here on
Jan 7 of this year and I have seen great improvements in my anxiety and agoraphobia and I am hardly ever depressed anymore.  This program really works and the educators are very helpful and caring and the support group is full of wonderful and supportive people going through some of the same things you are.  You really can get better.

Hello there,
My name is Adam and I have been struggling with anxiety problems for several years now.  Recently with my profession they have become overwhelming and have started to interfere with my overall health.  I am now seeking alternate therapy and treatment than medication.  My CBT therapist directed me to this website.  I find the information very informative, motivating and helpful.

Hi Strangers,

Welcome to our online support community and thank you for sharing your story with us. There are many people within this support group that share the same questions and concerns as you.  We are all a group of individuals who support each other.

If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests.  These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.

We also have developed a Panic Program.  This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above.  Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead.

These tests may or may not be for you but they are "free".  If you have any question or concerns with our “TOOLS”, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net.  We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have.

Please continue to strive forward and lean on us for support.

D.

No maybe about it. Your therapist will help but not every day and the meds will help but they need some help to work or you just become a robot. Right now I would think you need it all. There are people just like you here and you can see the improvement. If nothing else that should be incentive. The program does work but it takes time. Some take more some less but it does work. And I am here as annoying proof that you can get better, and will.

Hi.  I'm new here.

I'm not new to online forums, but I've never been on one for anxiety before.  I came here because along with depression and PTSD I've gotten to having very bad anxiety and agoraphobia, and it's extremely hard to leave the house, which makes me more depressed, etc.  I do have a therapist and a psychdoc who gives me meds, but I'm thinking maybe something like this will be helpful to me, especially as there aren't any day treatment programs in my area.  It's gotten to where it's hard to do anything, between the anxiety and depression, so I figure if I start doing a program where I'm having goals *and* talking/interacting with others, maybe that will help me make some baby steps back towards having a life.
