Hi Kmarie, You are doing the right thing by quitting. You will feel so much better. Stay with the group and make sure you know your triggers for smoking. Come here before you take a puff. kmarie, Wow, I hate to hear about the puking (chantix). I did too at the end of week one, but I think mine was a virus and it only lasted for a couple of days. Also, I make sure...that I eat BEFORE I take it. I bought granola bars specifically because I had gotten out of the habit of eating (smoked instead) so I could take the med in early am, and I take the evening dose right after dinner. I love my coffee in the morning, but I also loved the ciagarett with it. Last time I quit, I had to give up the coffee. This time, the chantix made the craving extremely different and the cigarett tasted different...so my morning granola bar has taken the place of the cig quite well and I think psychologically the pill reminds my brain that I don't want to light up now...I am a non-smoker who eats. Good luck using the Patch, it has worked for many here. auntdeb :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 45 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,275 Amount Saved: $213.75 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 6 Mins: 17 Seconds: 4

kmarie, Do you live in the US? I suggest you go to the DR and get Chantix, much easier than anything else, and I've tried them all. I'm done with smoking...I'm having no problems. I only get on this site now to help others. auntdeb My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 43 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,185 Amount Saved: $204.25 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 0 Mins: 22 Seconds: 19
