Hello,
Well, I'm on day 7 - one week down and it's strange how easy quitting seemed the first two days and then it just started going more and more downhill from there. I'm on the patch so I know I stil have plenty of nicotine so, I'm working on recognizing the 'habit' and separating it from what I previously presumed were cravings. That was easy enough to do on days 3-6. Well, day 7 dawned and all I thought about, all day long, was going to have a cigarette. Just one. It's been rough. My husband, who is quietly supportive (he'll had me a tin of Altoids and says 'Here, these may help') suggested looking at forums on line. It has helped but, wow, day 7 is just about finished and I really have had cigarettes on my mind pretty much the entire day. Hopefully day 8 will be better. :)
