I stepped out of comfort zone

Hugs,

My feelings before were just a slight anxiety. More like a mild nervousness, nothing severe just mild. During, I can't really recall my feelings during, it was fast paced. Afterwards I felt good. Today, I am still glad I did it and I want to do it again.

JD, I wish you describe the feelings before and after the push through. I felt this on a small scale, with nausea before and relief after trying to draw a busy architectural diagram of the home, as I try to figure out if I can use a snowblower, while juggling feelings of grief and family tensions. Some of the nausea is gone, but the beginning of the year is always full of this uncertainty pushing my buttons, until I "come out the other side". But then we have to do it all over again.

Davit,

This was a huge moment for me. For an encore, I'd like to be able to say I'm recovered. Recovered is going to be my encore.

Coming to the site within the year 2015, stay tuned...

JayDee.

A bit better than six month. That is impressive. Much faster than I was. Support does help doesn't it. I did it without support and only a therapist, but a very good one who just gave me the information and let me do it on my own. Well it sticks better if you have to work at it. Any encores planned? If you could do anything what would it be?

Hi everyone,

I stepped out of my comfort zone and did something remarkable today. I had a professional photo shoot done. Without this site, my support team and my Dear friend online and my friends offline I would not have been able to do this. I felt minor anxiety while my hair and makeup was being done, but it was minor- maybe a 3. A new year, a new day, a new me!

For those of you just starting the program, stick with it. Please don't give up. Find the positives to replace the negatives and shine like you were meant to shine. It is a known fact that people who suffer from anxiety/panic attacks are very creative and talented. When you think you can't do it, remember that you can. Keep going with this program. I want to see all of you sparkle like I am in this moment.
