Day 12 of house guests. So far none of them have caught the virus I had thankfully. Cleaned carpets today with shampooer and started work on cleaning attic.

I am going to have to find an indoor hobby for this winter since the flower beds are almost finished for the year. Any suggestions besides sewing or baking?

I saw a t -shirt which read "Your workout is my warmup", and shared it with a cyclist(possibly staff at a major hospital, who laughed, when I asked if he did the long stairwell at the hospital for a warmup). I'm a lot older so I don't see life as a competition, nor did I very much, when younger. It might be a collaboration, according to upbringing.

Up and around today! Got several chores completed today. :) feeling 70% better from this virus. Heart rate is still above 100, I'm still monitoring it.

Toddler boy decided today I was his friend. He informed his Mom though that she wasn't his friend, she is mommy so she isn't allowed to be his friend. We both smiled at his reasoning.

While the mother took a bath, I taught toddler boy and toddler girl to fake cry. It was cute to watch. Toddler girl sounds like she is laughing/crying. My newest friend toddler boy is a prodigy! He learns quickly. The mom came out of bathroom and came to check on them and on cue, toddler boy started his fake cry. The mother quickly asked him what was wrong. He looked up at her and started cracking up laughing with the biggest smile on his face. I'm amused, toddler boy is amused. The mom on the other hand isn't so amused. All in good fun. :)

Day 9 of house guests and we're all still surviving.

After 24 hours of antibiotics I am feeling 40% better. Stubborn me should have went to Dr sooner. I am still monitoring my blood pressure and heart rate. It's only gone down to 103 at one point. Dr wants it 100 or below.

So while laying in bed as told by Dr and being bored out of my mind I started thinking about building a flower wall. I was able to picture it in my mind. I think that will be a nice spring project.

Day 8 of house guests, I'd like to report something funny, but I have been to ill to witness such happenings. Hopefully this evening or tomorrow. Laughter is good medicine along with antibiotics. :)

Day 7 of house guests. I got really sick. So sick I had to see the Dr today. Blood pressure was 90/68 and heart rate was 120. I am now on 3 medications for this virus. Just Ugh is how I feel. Dr is very concerned about my heart rate even after explaining I have a panic disorder and he wants me to monitor it for the next 5 days and if it doesn't go below 100 he wants to see me back in office. So, I figured I would drop in here for an update since I am so ill and didn't get online yesterday. I'm going to lay down and try to be stress free via Doctors orders.

There is a chinese saying, "may you live in interesting times". I see you have found a way to do this.

Today is day 5 of house guests.

Toddler boy had to potty number one really bad and took my empty teacup and set it on floor. The mother was appalled. The father quickly took him to bathroom and I laughed so hard I had a coughing fit. I asked the Mother where he got this idea from and she explained on way here, they used a disposable cup during trip so they didn't have to make so many rest area stops. I will now laugh every time I use my teacup. I think to be on the safe side, I will use my other favorite teacup tomorrow and keep it out of his reach.

Feeling slightly better today, but running a fever.

I slept fairly well. Only woke up a few times to take a drink of water.

Today I made a peach cobbler. The children didn't want to eat it so I told them it was oranges. I lied to toddlers. It worked though. I also made a quilt today. Day 4 of house guests. Besides lying to the toddlers it's been a good day. I feel a bit better today virus wise as well.

All those positives, I'm impressed. You should sleep well despite the virus.

 Hugs,

It's good you weren't grumpy. Pillow talk is always nice. Yesterday, one of the toddlers shoved a cloth coaster into the dvd player. The mom was worried it would never come out. I'm handy with a screwdriver. She thought I would be upset. I explained only if he gets hurt will I be upset, not mad upset, concerned upset. If he burns the place down, that's a different story, but how much damage can a toddler do? Not enough to make me mad.

Today is Day 3 of house guests. Been sick 2 of those days. Fed them all lunch and dinner, they were on their own for breakfast. Hoping they don't catch this virus. I have sprayed everything I touch with disinfectant. We watched a nice movie that I had never seen. James and the Giant peach. It was different for a kids movie. I also let a toddler help me with a quilt pattern. He wanted to continue working on it, but I was wiped out. All in all a good day.
