yeah it is getting cold here, but I felt like the air was on at work which is odd.

Hi Red,

It's funny to hear you describing AC running, as many of us are struggling with winter beginning to take over, and heating systems.

Davit,
Is it normal to hear the fan/motor continue to cycle as the furnace slows, and it meeting the thermometer setting.  I've never noticed this before, and my sleep might not be as good, as I listen to hear if mom is okay...

Thanks Davit for the kind words..
It is a bit quiet here today with the door shut and the ac running. I completed my last errand to the drug store again and have no left to talk to or explain to. So now I am free at last to rest my mind and do little bits of nothing for the rest of the day..I relish sitting here this time of day with a nice cup of tea.Doing nothing...Now this is living..

Wishing you a nice time with your neighbor friend today while to two of you have so fun makin a little apple wine..

Good morning Red

Congratulations. I'm so glad it went well.
Well it is a lot cooler here. Around 30F frost on the ground and fog. It is not likely to get higher than mid 60's today or for the next week. But as long as it doesn't rain or snow I'm okay with that. The leaves are still slowly falling. Except for the odd squirrel it is quiet. A little too quiet.
The neighbour who has a manufacturing business has his shop door closed so I don't hear him anymore even. No trains have gone by on the other side of the valley either. Even the highway is quiet. There is never much traffic there anyway.
It reminds me of my cabin on lake athabasca. In winter it would be as quiet as the desert unless the ice was expanding or shrinking. Then it could be noisy as thunder.

Good Morning Davit,

I will take a Bow for all went very well yesterday. I must give the Doc some of the credit too.

He is one of the Good Guys and has no problem listening, answering questions or sharing his knowledge with me. We even laughed together yesterday.  It is worth the longer drive to see him..

We put a simple plan in place for now. Upped the Lasix, adjusted the Potassium, got stricter with the diet. Doing a   1200 calorie diet now and of course I have to eliminate all white sugar and white flour and add more exercise.

The Doc and I will meet again just before Christmas and bring out the big guns, stronger drugs if needed then..But for now all that is left to do is pick up one more med from the pharmacy..The last piece of the puzzle for now.

After that I am hoping to go for a drive up into the mountains today to scout out Campgrounds..I did a little research on line yesterday and found some openings. It is still a little to hot for the desert camping just yet. It has been in the mid 80's here at home this week..Hopefully things will begin to cool down in the next couple of weeks so I can get on the road again..

Hi Gailerina, and Welcome..nice to hear and talk with you and get you input.

I agree it would be nice if we had a chat room. They can be a little fast moving and it is sometimes hard to keep up but it is fun as long as it doesn't get raunchy it is good.

I like your therapists idea of walking. Walking even a little does seem helpful. When I am having really bad anxiety it helps and it does see to keep the depression at bay. If I get to feeling really depressed it is harder to do so for me walking is best done as a preventive measure and if I have let it get away from me. Than even a small walk seems to help..If it is raining out the bookstore is a good place to walk around too or the library if you are looking for some quiet. Sometimes the noise is a bit much for me to take depending on my nervous system that day. Just some movement to unwind at little or to clear the head helps..

I am hoping we can come up with a thread where we can talk, until then maybe we can use this one for now. It seems to be working right now and talking and expressing ourselves is one of the many steps in the process of getting or staying well..
