Jazz,

It's really fantastic that you and Mr J are not only improving the quality of your own lives but of others as well by giving to charities. We're sure all of the children will be very appreciative.

Hi HP  - thanks for popping in with your good wishes - you're always so upbeat!
Brenna, we haven't really thought about the celebration part, but we are donating the money that we save in the final 4 months to a charity - I believe it will be a children's hospital.

Jazz,

This is a great accomplishment and something we hope you and Mr J are very proud of. What are your plans for your one year celebration?

Hi Jazz,
Wow, eight months is so cool!

Whatever the stress is in your life, looks like you are doing a great job of weathering the storm.
Nice that you have a partner who understands.

Good luck to you for the coming weeks!
Come by whenever you can and stay strong!

Yup, that means Mr. J and I celebrated 8 months quit yesterday!  What a great feeling.  Again, thanks to everyone on this site - without your support, inspiration, guidance, etc., I know for a fact we never would have come this far. Sure, there's been some big hurdles, but we have a ton of friends at SSC to help us get over them.  Last night was one of the worst ever, but I'm proud to say that a ciggie didn't even cross my mind.  This morning, yes, but not last night.  3 more weeks of major, unavoidable stress, then it should be over and we can get on with our own lives again.  Can't wait!!
Thanks again everyone - keep  the quit strong!

Congrats to all you newbies too - I don't get online much, but I do notice a lot of new names - you made a fabulous choice to quit smoking, and equally as fabulous to do it with such great people here at SSC.  Best wishes to all......
