ladycigevictor I am so glad that you are still quit...I remember when you started...You did more planning than anyone (which by the way is the way one is supposed to do it) I knew. I was always intrigued by the way you where laying things out for yourself...Great to see it all has paid off big time for you... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 201 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,030 Amount Saved: $1,407.00 Life Gained: Days: 36 Hrs: 17 Mins: 46 Seconds: 2

Nonic, Simply fabulous post.
So take yourselves dancing on a journey of self improvement
I'm loving your words, your song and dancing on every step of my journey back to myself. Look over your shoulders everyone, look ahead of you, look beside you, look up, look down...there are people dancing everywhere here at SSC. :) Pat My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 167 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,680 Amount Saved: $2,338.00 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 17 Mins: 58 Seconds: 15

Thanks for hanging on to that post - and thank God for the SSC when I needed to vent my spleen :) I didn't think it was possible to have such vivid emotions that they'd actually came flying out my fingers! Nonic, you always speak words so many of us are thinking. I'll always wonder how you're doing. Tom, hear hear! The buck stops with us and no one else. x T My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 194 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,462 Amount Saved: 1,067.00 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 4 Mins: 17 Seconds: 51

You said it Nonic!!! Quitting smoking ain't a bad place to start and doesn't matter where you're going!! When I pack my bags to leave, all the things I take from now on will help me on my way. Nothing I pack from that point on will poison or kill me. All I can say is, "Stop the insanity!" Todash So good to hear from you...I still have a copy of your famous absolutely fantastic existential rant of about 6 months ago...Remember the one where you just let every image fly like little toy planes in a wind storm...I thought that was one of the best posts I ever saw on this site...I have yet to see another one with such striking symbolism... So true, so true my friend. I realise now how much more I can focus on the little things without a cigarette interfering with what I'm trying to do. I saw a girl walking down the street the other day trying to talk on the phone, dig in her bag and light a cigarette at the same time and thought how much the smokes interfered with the act of living. How sad we grow to depend on the evil weed so much. This specific brand of joy has never existed in my life before. I hope everyone else feels the same. x T My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 194 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,462 Amount Saved: 1,067.00 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 4 Mins: 4 Seconds: 55
