Barry is still on the 21mg. It is much easier with us both quitting. We have not had much luck with quitting separately. Congrats to you and your hubby :) Joy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/2/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 350 Amount Saved: $161.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 20 Mins: 13 Seconds: 4

Hi Joy - congrats to you and your husband. I think it will be easier with both quitting, rather than watching one sneak outside for a quick puff! How is your husband finding the patch - did he start on the 21 mg as well? Hi Jazz, Hubby and I quit together as well. We are working on day 8 today. He is using the patch and I am using lozenges. I don't think I could do this without some sort of NRT. I have cut down from the 2mg to the 1mg. Have a great day. Thanks Freedom. Both my husband and I have our full 10 week supply already, so we'll keep going to the end of box 10. I guess when they're already at the house, there's no reason to cut off early. I am finding that I get the shakes about 2 hours after I put it on, and they last for about 3 hours or so. Josie suggested that I might need to re-adjust my doseage, but I'm afraid to as I don't want to interrupt the program. I'm hoping they'll just stop on their own. Just make sure to follow it right to the end of program otherwise you might find a craving sneaking up on you! That's what happened to me, so I knew I wasn't ready to quit the patch halfway through just to save money, I am glad at this point that I made that decision. Good for you, hell week is almost over! Keep up the good work!
