Congrats Doodles on fighting tooth and nail on this quit! I'm not a doctor but maybe one of the nurses could chime in on this. I think that when you quit, there becomes an imbalance for the first few weeks where without the smoke you risk infection while your body changes from a smoker to someone who is smoke-free. Just a note to say that I am still alive!! But for the first two weeks of my quit i was really tired and could not breath well, ( it is very hot here) coughed alot... i thought all of this was part or my quit, After seeing a DR. friday morning, I ended up in the EMR at 12:30.. I could not breathe... This has nothing to do with my QUIT!! My lungs were inflamed as per the DR and the nurse thought that I had pneumona ... T can now breath better , but now that I am sane and can think straight.. I am taking the exray to my reg. GP.. This has all been very scary.. So just don't think that every bad feeling is nicotine related.. PS I am still a none smoker!!! And I did add Welbutrin to my life...
