Hi MEGR,
It's good to hear that you are still on your quit journey. ? "I see Timbo statistics and it seems so far away" Just stay strong and vigilant and your stats stats will grow into large numbers too. "I am motivated because I want to be healthier and save money." These are both goods reasons to quit. You've set a goal for yourself and you are already reaping the rewards. Your body has started the healing process from the damage cigarettes have caused, and your wallet/purse is getting fatter. LOL
And don't worry, the "grumpiness" will get less with time too.

Thank you. It is hard right now. I am grumpy. ?
I see Timbo statistics and it seems so far away. It helps to log in and see mine grow though. I think I will come back and log in to see them and when I need help. It seems that lots of people have been here.
I am motivated because I want to be healthier and save money.
Thank you for your kind words!

Welcome MEGR!
Congrats on getting started and already making it through the first two weeks. That's awesome! You are still in the first month. It will be hard but it will start to get easier soon. I encourage you to read through the program and use the keyword search in the forums.
What has been helping you to stay motivated in your quit? When are you feeling most triggered?
Timbo, asks some great questions too that I'm eager to read the answers too as well.
Looking forward to reading more from you.
Ashley
Hi MEGR,
Welcome to the site. 17 days is a LONG time without a smoke isn't it? Congratulations on making it this far. It can be difficult that's for sure. The feelings you have of torture and despair are normal and part of the healing process. It will get easier for you as time goes by. I can't say for how long, but it will get easier. Be sure and give yourself a reward for all of the hard work you have put into your quit journey. Rewards are nice and remind you that you are making the effort pay off in the end.
Are you going cold turkey? How long have you smoked? Have you tried to quit before?
There's lots of good advice in these forums. Start reading and you will find some good tips to help you out.
Hang in there.
Stay safe!
