Hey Rete,
A big congratulations on 30 days smoke free!!!   Good luck on your eye surgery on Monday. You didn't mention anything about the root canal, so I take it that's on hold for now. Great to hear about the BP returning to normal too.  I hope the ice cream was good too.  Hang in there non-smoker, and we look forward to hearing from you when ever you can get back on the computer.

Don't know when I will be able to get back on the computer as I have surgery schedule for Monday the 24th.  I have a detached retina and am going the band/bucket route which has a good rate of success.

I'm told recuperation will only be a week or so and then I can return to work which means I can see well enough to use a computer again.

I'm still a Non-Smoker and on day 30 today, Friday the 21st of March.  My skin is clearing nicely, my eyes are brighter and with having my blood pressure taken 5 times during the last 7 days, it has returned to normal.

Thanks everyone for your support and good wishes and prayers and I will see you again asa I get the go ahead

Hey Rita!!!

Hope all goes with the eye doctor and with the tooth this evening!  Glad I'm not going to be in the seat you are going to be in!!  I've never had a root canal, but I'm sure one will be in my future someday!  At least once it's over you won't have to have it done again on that tooth!    Be sure to reward yourself afterwards!

The weekend has come and gone and I stayed quit.  Went to lunch on Saturday with a friend, visited my accountant, took another friend shopping and then home for an evening of quiet and a little television.  Sunday went to a movie and out for dinner.  Today another eye doctor appointment and tomorrow evening yet another one.  Have a partially detached retina with a build up of fluid behind it and will require surgery.  Will know more tomorrow after the next appointment.  Oh and tonight is the dentist and possible root canal.

Congratulations!

What are your plans to keep distracted this weekend?
