oneday35, That positive attitude will get you through a lot! Getting excited about your new life and the freedom that comes with it will really get you places. I think that attitude and preparation are the biggest success factors. Get some strategies in place for how to spend your time at night, shake up your routine and let us know how we can help. We are rooting for you :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1245 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 24,900 Amount Saved: $5,602.50 Life Gained: Days: 97 Hrs: 1 Mins: 31 Seconds: 31

Hi One Day Good for you! You know that you can post your quit meter here by checking yes in the Personal Profile page? It's fun to see your days and savings add up. Sounds like you're doing well so far. Just make sure you have a plan for the evenings...something that "mixes it up" a bit. Your positive attitude about this should help quite a bit. Hi there oneday35! What a great way to begin the new year! Using the Quit Program Tools here is very helpful. Be sure to plan some distractions for the evenings when you used to smoke. Let us know how we can help. Best wishes! Welcome to SSC and congratulations on your decision to stop smoking! You CAN do this and it is very much worth the effort! You will feel so much better you won't believe it. May I ask why you only smoked at night? I was a closet smoker and I didn't smoke at work, so I smoked A LOT in the evenings and on the weekends. Take good care of yourself, come here often, and ask for help if you need it. We're pulling for you!
