How do I use the face book? My daughter is more familiar with that and I'm lucky if I can get on my computer at home during the week. She lives on it. Here's the update since last I was here. My surgery went well and so far no signs of cancer. My daughter is now on medication for Hypothyroidism which finally explains why the moods and her being tired all the time. All in all things are better and we're getting along better. I let loose the rope and we battle less. It's less stressful. I'm just really glad to be back and missed the support as well as the friends I made here. It's Nice to see alot of you are here and have great stats!!! Welcome back, I too messed up a 63 day quit and I am now on Chantix and have been quit for 40+ days. We know we can never have another puff again, not ever. Good luck with your first week, I found chantix very very helpful!! Kayla, I wasn't sure if you wanted anyone to use your name. Anyways....on the chantix. Are you eating something with them? and drinking lots of water? I found that if I didn't I had stomach aches too. What worked for me in the morning was yogurt or cottage cheese. So....did your surgery go okay? How's the daughter? Sheesh...so much to catch up on. I am just so so glad you're back. Oh, btw...congrats on day one being finished! Crazycuban, Please make sure if your symptoms persist to see your physician. The dosing may need to be adjusted to fit your body. Happy to hear today is a better day. I would encourage you to begin thinking about this powerful trigger and come up with a coping plan. Give yourself an alternative to giving in! Keep persevering! Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

Thanks for the support and I missed alot of you too... I made it through the day and now onto day 2. It's been much better today and less stressful. That has been my worse trigger and hopefully I'll handle it better this time. This Chantix has been working pretty well except my stomach hurts all the time oh well. It's worth the help quitting!! Hey girly girl! I've thought about you so many times and hoped you were doing well. I'm very happy to hear you're back on the quit wagon and have prepared for it. Remember all your coping strategies? Cold water, deep breaths, self talk? And what's a quit without a little stress to test it? :eg: Seriously, that is one of the worst stressors in my book. Obviously it got sorted out though, right? BTW, if you're trying to use the im, I highly suggest using the newer version of ssc. Hope to hear from you lots! -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 228 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,120 Amount Saved: $1,550.40 Life Gained: Days: 31 Hrs: 20 Mins: 21 Seconds: 55

Well CC, keep your chin up. If you did it for 70 days you can do it again. One day at a time! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 245 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,125 Amount Saved: $2,584.75 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 22 Mins: 52 Seconds: 53
