Hi Sonia,
I wish I knew how to place my guilt in perspective, and the overwhelming task of caregiving in perspective, but it's more than I ever imagined...caregivers usually describe how their lives "shrink".  With GAD, that makes is worse, since I can't find regular time to work at learning to be with people, and fears become negatively re-enforced.

I need to be at my best, so I just finished a course on "life planning", and leisure is something I'm going build more aggressively into my life, so that I can be renewed regularly.

hugs4U,

Those are some really great gestures! How could you make "taking care of you" less challenging?

Hi Samantha,

Hi,

I wished some secretary a good day. I let someone go ahead of me at some doorway. Yesterday I felt angry, so I took a walk, instead of dumping on my brother.
I am caregiving all day, all week, so it’s natural to do a good deed - and I was cub scout. My challenge is taking care of me....

Members,

There are so many benefits to being generous and doing good deeds. What are the top 3 kind gestures (big or small) that you have done for someone? How did you feel after performing these acts? How did the other person react to your gesture?
