Making breakthroughs in your life by breaking the inertia or momentum

Hi Hugs,

Interesting discussion. Behaviour change is difficult and it can take time. Generally people do through the same stages; precontemplative (before they think about changing a behavior), contemplative (thinking about changing a behaviour), preparation (preparing for the change, physically and mentally), action (making the commitment to change) and maintanance (maintaining the change). Depending on what stage you are at will depend on what will work for you.

Members, share your thoughts.

One of the universal laws of physics is that things that are in motion or at rest remain in that mode.

My approach is to do things incrementally, since I'm not the sort of person who jumps into a pool.  I'll dip my toe in and get used to it.

I wonder how others break through the inertia or momentum now, or in the past?
