Another great thread Hugs.

I was always amazed by Helen Keller. Someone who can achieve so much and give so much when she had so many obstacles.

Carl Boyd

Carl was diabetic and had cancer (colon). His wife had Alzheiners for 20 years. Carl went to the hospital every day and fed her. Even when he lost a leg and was in a wheelchair. When he lost the other leg he still stayed at home and gardened with raised beds and did his own shopping. At 86 his cancer came back. In the hospital he told friends he had had enough and died later that day. My life is so much easier than his was and I'm considered disabled.

I wonder if you've had someone as a role model, who succeeded despite adversity?

Mine is my dad, who did so much.  As I arose, wondering if I'd ever have the courage to get the blinds changed, which have needed attention for a long time, I realized someone I knew had done so much, but had more obstacles, possibly

It's like that child's tail about the train trying to go up the steep hill, which I believe says "I think I can..."
