What do you REALLY think?

The last week of May upon coming out of the anaesthetic. That particular drug is very close to the truth drug. You can not lie.
So your nurse had better not be blonde with a big nose and look like Miss Piggy. Sunny was there and I don't remember it at all. There is lots I do not remember. So she knows exactly what I thought of her. Well her and the recovery nurse, who thank God did not look like Miss Piggy. I would like to be able to remember what I said. I was put back under for two days while they got my heart stabilized. Apparently I even sang a love song that I can't remember ever having known the words to.
Still there are things a person should not say to others, and in that same light not say about others when talking to some one else. But where do you draw the line. Giving someone the wrong impression can get you in trouble in the future. If you truly care for them and they you, you should be able to ride out the storm the truth may cause. If not then someone has a problem.
How well do you take criticism? If poorly then the problem may be with you. You don't have to believe it, after all it may not be true. This is one way core beliefs start.
But like CBT where positives cancel out negatives, start with positives if you must say something negative and end with a positive.
I don't like lists and conditions but here is one place where a "tell the truth day" might be a good idea.
Then there is the case of not saying how you feel because you might get hurt. Not good to find out many years later some one was just waiting for you to make the first move.
I think this is one of those questions that has many answers. As many answers as there are people.

When was the last time you told someone what you really think? I mean what you really, REALLY think.

This is a tricky question, in this society of surface smiles and actions it can be hard to know if someone is being completely honest with you. It can also be hard to be completely honest with someone else. If we all told everyone exactly what we think boy could our lives get messy! But sometimes, it is important to tell people what we really (really) think. How much you appreciate someone is one of those times. The common standby is “I love you” and this has varying meanings depending on the relationship and the individuals but does it really convey how you really feel?

How can you make someone fully understand how much you appreciate them? And if you are able to articulate it how would that effect the person? My guess is it would have a REALLY big impact. Not only would it remind them know their own worth (sometimes we can forget) but it would also encourage them to continue to act in the unique way that makes them beautiful (the unique way you appreciate them).  So, how can you let someone know how you REALLY feel today?  Make it happen and let us know about it.
