It must be hard to get to bed earlier when you can't relax. How can you schedule in relaxation time now? Perhaps this will help with getting to bed earlier?

I think I need to get to bed earlier, since fatigue sets in, with a lack of motivation.  It's like that Paul McCartney song "don't tired to for love(substitute "relaxation"...as mundane as it is...my life is "..what it is...")

You said a keyword Hugs - Routine. If it was part of your routine then it would be less likely that you would forget about it.
 
So how can you make relaxation techniques a part of your routine?

Returning to relaxation would help, but sometimes, my tenseness does't allow the time to remember this healthy routine

You're right that routines certainly have their place in our lives and that they can often be subtler than we realize. Also, it's perfectly natural that changing or taking away a routine may bring about a feeling of tenseness.

How do you usually cope with the tense feelings when they come about? What can you do to add to or improve your coping strategy?

I find without structure, I feet tense, since there are so many demands already in life.  Routines may seem boring at times, but there are cyclical surges of stress, and having that reduced with predictability lets me respond without worry about my confidence level or success.
 
I do have a daily "to do" list, which I follow.  Also, there are other unofficial rules I have.  An example would be I shop on the same day each week, I workout every other day, I try to eat meat no more than twice weekly and fish a couple of times a week, along with legumes on days between meat and fish.
 
I think we all have these routines, but don't realize how subtle they are.  Many of these would be handed down from parents and cultures to children, and modified as children might go to away to travel and/or schools.
 
I think I'd feel inferior to somebody who might view my life as banal, as they live their life "spontaneously", but I remember something we used to say in organization management - "we all build on each other's shoulders"

Good question.  I do need some kind of routine during the week and try to plan ahead.  For example, I need to write in my calendar when I can make time to go to the gym - otherwise, it is too easy to skip it and let too many days go by. 
 
If you don't stick to your routine, or keeping track of aspects of daily living, how does that affect your mood or feelings of anxiety?

I wonder if others find structure is important? By structure, I mean routine, predictability and rhythm in daily life.
 
I usually track some things, in terms of time use on a spreadsheet like graph paper, but eventually "lose" the lines on the spreadsheet, or like erasing lines of a piece of graph paper.  Four things I keep track of currently are 1) sleep 2) day naps 3) time on the panic centre website d) time watching tv daily.
 
On the tracking sheet, I lost the "grid lines", so i can tell where I left off, which day it is, without straining my eyes on the computer monitor, on a spreadsheet.  It's kind of a "structure" I need, like routines during the day.
 
I can't  tell you how much this little change means to me!
 
I think I may revisit the need for other similar changes in my life so I feel less stress during my day.
 
I'd welcome any input
