I used to sing in a choir, but it's something which I had to drop for caregiving. I didn't consider it "creative", but the human connection nourished me, the spirituality in a church validated my values, and the repeated exposures in front of a weekly congregation of hundreds of parishioners eroded my uneasiness are all missed.
Rephrasing this proved to me how much it meant to me. I've tried to look for something with less commitment over a long period of time, but I'm not successful so far. Maybe I'll look for something a music school where it might just be a semester.
