Spring Ahead

Red, a nice way to see the positive in both time frames! Thanks for that. Hope you enjoyed your days 'off'.

Hugs, big projects are as intimidating when you break them down into smaller components. Why do you think spring cleaning and light is bothersome to you? How are you doing?

The one thing I like about the time change is that if I am traveling across country I have more hours of daylight which makes it easier for me to travel..  The thing I like about the old  time is that I have more quiet time to unwind and relax after the sun goes down..Its is much more peacful and quiet in the city at night where I live now...Not where I lived before..Nights there were full of danger, drugs and gunfire..So now I am no longer afraid of the dark and actually look forward to it...It all depends on where I am and what is going on in my life..

Is anybody afraid of the Spring & summer light?  I find I go into hiding, and that I can't compete with the "normal" world....it's crushing.

I very much dislike spring cleaning. It is also very depressing, but one room at a time. Odd that I can work all day out side but in doors, nah.

Decluttering was going to be my exciting answer that goes with spring.

I find it hard to let go of things, so things just surround me and I had to ask my brother for help.  He makes it look easy, and that is consoling.   I nearly fell over one area, since it seemed there was so much more space after cleaning!

My finances are a mess too.

Does anybody find spring cleaning gets them discouraged?

Samantha,

I'm retired, it is the same hour of daylight, just the clock is different. :-). I can't actually say what time I get up or go to bed since it doesn't matter. You poor people that work enjoy your extra hour. :-)  Cell and computer change the time automatic and I don't wear a watch, I could easily not even notice.

Here for you,
Davit.

Members,

Spring ahead this weekend and incorporate a new activity or hobby into your weekly routine! What will you do with your extra hour of sunlight each afternoon?
