Hi dennis:  Davit is right.  It works, keep the faith and have some patience.  You may encounter one step forward and two steps back once in awhile, but that's okay.  Soon it will be two steps forward and only one back.  Then the more knowledge and practice of the CBT program you have, and knowledge of yourself, you will move forward with confidence with scarcely a step back at all.  Lots of good success here.  Hope you are reading some past posts too.  Much info. and inspiration.

I think this is why we have such a good success rate.

Here for the group, and the group for me.

Dennis

Even if you panic, you will survive it just like you survived all the rest. It  will just prove how strong you are. And if you don't panic it will prove this fear of a fear is just that. An unreasonable fear that you are going to cure with this program and our help. Look at the others. I told them they would get better, I did not lie, They are getting better. It just takes time, you will too. This I know for sure. The other thing I know is that we are here for you, you are not alone.

Here for you
Davit.

Hi Dennis,

I encourage you to review Section 2 of the Panic Program. Try not to let your negative thoughts undermine your progress. Think positive! What other siutations did you face this week where you were successful in dealing with your anxious feelings? What are you finding most helpful so far in this program? Will you be able to log on from your Mexico place, so you can receive suppport from the forums, as well as continue the program?

I hope it's going well. I have faith in you!

Be patient. Distinguish that you need to take small steps to recover, and that if you recover too quickly, you may sink back into depression again. Great rewards take long to obtain, but with patience, half the battle is already won. Depression is only a phase, and with the proper attitude and know-how, you can certainly pull through and have a better life.
